This Guide (black in front) was Ed Hawkins a Long time employee of the estate. It was said the he could kill and de-feather a chicken faster than anyone. People would stand and watch him do this everyday as this was a staple on the menu at Mammoth Cave. Employees of the estate were early day multi-taskers.
